Hello hello, possible banner maker! We always need people to create banners for our winners - while I don't mind doing it myself, it would be helpful to have someone to do it for me! XD So, if you're interested in helping out with the banner making process, me a leave a note here!

We start out pulling our themes and subjects out of thin air. But we always need your input as to what kinds of subjects or themes you'd be interested in! We've started a couple lists here, and if you'd like to browse them, give them your support, or especially add to them specifically, leave us a note here.

Here we keep track of questions people tend to ask often. If you have any questions, please post them here and we will be happy to answer them.

1. How long is the contest?
At the moment, each round is two weeks long unless otherwise specified. Make sure you read the challenge post thoroughly so that you don't miss any fine details!

2. How many icons can I make?
Well, each challenge will have specified how many icons you can make. We will usually be setting the number depending on how many people have been participating lately. Most often, it'll probably be between 2 and 3 per challenge.

3. So, wait. The number of themes/subjects change from week to week?
Yep. All depends on how creative we're feeling, how many people've been participating, how busy the mods are, and such things as this. There might be one or two parts to the challenge, and some weeks there might even be a special or speed challenge.

4. Do we have to participate in all parts of a multi-part challenge?
Not at all! Feel free to only submit icons for the subject or theme that you like.

5. Do the number of icons allowed apply to one subject or all of them at once, then?
When there are multiple subjects, you'll be allowed to submit the set maximum of icons for each one. For instance, if you have a two part challenge where the first theme is 'Blue' and the second is the episode 'Bad Wolf', and the set icon maximum is three icons, you can do a total of six icons, as long as it is three from each part of the challenge.

6. Where do I vote and for how long?
Once the submissions post has closed, voting will open as soon as possible. Hopefully, depending on the volume of votes, the polls will close within two days, or as soon as we have enough votes to determine clear standings. When we have all votes counted, winners will be announced.

7. Can I vote for myself? Can my friends vote for me?
Please do not vote for yourself. However, you are absolutely welcome to ask your friends to come and vote. However, remember you're not allowed to show your icons to anyone until voting is closed, including your friends. So please, invite your friends to vote and hopefully they'll choose you!

8. I made an icon, but I missed the deadline! It's only been a few hours, can you put my icon into the contest anyway?
Unfortunately, no, we can't. Once the submission post closes that means that voting is being put together and can be posted at any moment. The second voting opens we can't add more icons or it throws off the numbers. Sorry! We encourage you instead to get a jump on the next week's submission!

9. Do you have to participate in this first challenge to participate in future ones?
Nope! This isn't an LIMS, the challenge is different every week! So feel free to just watch until you see a subject that catches you or participate every week. And you don't have to do every single subject every week, either, don't forget! You could do a single icon, all of them, or none at all!

10. Can I be an affiliate?
Sure! Just apply here!
